CfBT Lincolnshire School Improvement Serivce is the lead training agency for Arts Award in the East Midlands
From April, two brand new levels of Arts Award will be available; Arts Award Discover and Arts Award Explore. Through these new awards, anyone aged 7-25 can take part in Arts Award. Explore is accredited at Entry Level 3 while Discover in an introductory award. If you are interested in training to deliver the award, bookings are now open. Lights, Camera, Parliament - Parliament's Education Service is recommending Arts Award to accredit its 'Lights, Camera, Parliament!' film-making competition for schools

CfBT Lincolnshire School Improvement Service Arts and Study Support Team is proud to announce that we are an Arts Award Welcome Centre. This means that we fully support the Arts Award and will offer help and signposting to opportunities wherever possible to young people looking to achieve an Arts Award Qualification
Bronze Award
Taking part – Part A
We organise a number of different workshops in various artforms. Opportunities include:
· the Menu, which is a series of after school activities set up in schools with quality assured creative practitioners
Being the Audience – Part B
We organise a events during the year which celebrate the Arts. Also advertised on our Artsduck website are a number of other events happening around the county which you may be interested in attending
Meet an arts hero or heroine – Part C
We organise a number of events during the year where this could be possible:
· A hero or heroine could be someone who you have worked alongside as part of one of our projects. You could questions those people about their careers and include this in your Part C research
· We have an artist database which contains a large number of creative practitioner details. You might find someone on here who you find particularly inspiring and want to find out more about
Arts Apprenticeship – Part D
As we work with a large number of creative practitioners on a range of projects, there might be opportunities to work alongside a creative practitioner and support part of their workshop
Silver Award
Unit 1 - Arts Challenge – Part A/B
Your Arts Challenge might be linked with being part of one of our programmes, for example, the Fashion Academy, JYA (Young Journalist Academy) or the Lincolnshire Dance Academy, where your challenge can be related to this work.
Unit 1 – Arts Challenge – Part D
· We have an artist database which contains a large number of creative practitioner details. The website also contains useful information about the Arts within Lincolnshire and ways to get involved
Unit 2 – Supervised Arts Leadership – Part A, B, C, D, E
· As we work with a large number of creative practitioners on a range of projects, there might be opportunities to work alongside a creative practitioner, shadowing them and supporting part of their workshop activity
Gold Award
Unit 1 – Identify and use development opportunities and sources of information within the wider arts sector - Part B
· If you want to find out about the world of arts management, why not contact us as we might able to answer any questions that you may have. We could suggest some opportunities for volunteering
Unit 1 – research and review the work of more advanced practitioners and explore relationship to own practice – Part C
· Our artist database contains a large number of advanced practitioners. You could choose to contact them and find about their career paths

An opportunity for 16-25 years with a passion is within the arts, sports or culture. Somewhere_to can help them to find the right space. It might be as simple as finding a space for a one-off event for a dance group.
