What does the Music Service do?

The award winning Lincolnshire Music Service delivers music tuition and opportunities to children and young people throughout the county and beyond. During 2010/2011 it was awarded an outstanding judgement by the Music Service Evaluation Programme and also the National Music Council award for Jazz and Rock Education for the third year running. 14,000 young people accessed the service during 2010/2011 with provision for all including the Infant Music Programme (IMP), grassroots whole class instrumental tuition or as part of the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra. Standards are high within the service achieving standards above the national average. This is possible by expert delivery by a  team of over 100 experienced, trained and CRB cleared tutors who strive for excellence at all levels.
