Young Journalist Academy

Outline:

This programme began in 2008 and has been phenomenally successful in helping schools develop their ability to support pupils in the acquisition of high quality media and journalistic skills. Using professionals from industry the programme establishes a school based newsroom run entirely by pupils capable of producing broadcast standard film, radio, written and photographic content - all of which is hosted on the academy's own website: www.youngjournalistacademy.co.uk
